This gift card holder is so cute! It looks like a miniature gift. When the top is pulled off the recipient finds a gift card inside.
For the bottom of the gift card holder you need:
- A 5″ x 4-3/4″ piece of cardstock or DSP. I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock. .
- A decorative strip of DSP or cardstock that measures 1/2″ x 2-1/2″.
For the top you will need:
- A piece of DSP that measuress 5-1/4″ x 3″.
- A bow that resembles a bow at the top of a package.
- A gift card.
To assemble:
Bottom
- With 5″ side facing upward score at 2-1/2″. Fold on score line and secure. Use thin tear & tape to adhere the sides together. This piece should measere. 4-3/4″ x 2-1/2″. This will be the bottom.
- Adhere the strip that measures1/2″ x 2-1/2″. This is to resemble ribbon on the gift.
Top:
- With the 3″ side facing upward score at 1-1/2″. With liquid glue adhere the two short sides together.
- .Place the bow in the middle to resemble a bow at the top of a gift.
- Place a glue dot on each corner of the back of gift card and secure in the pocket of the top of the gift card holder.
- Then slide into the pocket of the bottom pocket of the gift card holder.
I used a small tag with a “To: & From” stamped on it. Of course, this is optional. Also, you can use any festive DSP you would like, I used stash.
