I always want to send birthday cards to family and friends so replenishing my birthday card collection is a must. I also donate about 50 cards to a local Assisted Living Center once a month. So I decided to get with it by using any of the DSP in my stash and make way for all the lovely new Designer Paper.

This card is an A2 card and will fit in a medium envelope. I cut a piece of Basic White card stock (#159276 page 123 in annual catalog) in 1/2. So that left me with two pieces of white card stock measuring 5 1/2″ x 8″. The 8 1/2″ side facing at top and bottom I scored the two pieces of cardstock at  4 1/4″.

The I cut a piece of Night of Navy Card stock  (#100867 page 122 in annual catalog) to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. this is my card front. Then I cut a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece of the Berries DSP (retired but any floral paper will work) diagonally. I the adhered the floral DSP to the left bottom side of the Night of Navy card front. The diagonal started at the corner of the top left corner down to the bottom right corner.

Along the diagonal I adhered som e white flowers I had cut from the In Bloom Dies. In the middle of the white flower I adhered some blue enamel dots.

I used a “Happy Birthday” setiment  stamped with the Many Wishes (#154510) stamp set and cut out with the Many Wishes Die (#154422 page 164). I adhered to the card.

This design is very versatile. You could use any of our beautiful colors of card stock and the new Designer Series Paper is beyond beautiful. The varity of embellishments is so plentiful.

Enjoy!
