I haven’t made a slim line card for a while. After watching a video I was inspired to create a mini slim line card.using the “Sweet Talk” Designer Paper and the dies After makinfg the card I realized i didn’t have an envelope to match so I made one.
To recreate you will need:
- 1- 7″ x 6″ piece of Blushing Bride card stock
- 2- 3″ x 5 pieces of Basic White card stock
- A 3″ x6″ strip of the Converstion Heart Designer Paper. See below.
- The the 3 heart dies that will cut out the hearts from the Desingner Paper (The 3″ x 6″ Designer Paper as in picture above.
- Two sentiment stamps of your choice. I used the “hi valentine” for otside the card and “Be Mine” for inside of card. These came from the November Paper Pumpkin 2020. But there are some very cute sentiments included in the “Sweet Talk” stamp set found in the January 4- April 2022 Mini Catalog.
- Pool Party ink pad.
- 1 Blending bush
- Memento Ink
Begin by scoring the Blushin Bride Card stock. Place the 6″ side at top and bottom of trimmer. Then score at 3 1/2. When you fold the card stock it should measure 3 1/2″ x 6″. This will be your card base.
You can the use the dies to cut out the conversation hhearts. You can choose which ones to use. If you don’t have the dies you can fussy cut the hearts you want to use.
Then on one piece of the 3″ x 5″ white card stock use your blending brush to blend some Pool Party ink in about the middle of the card. You are finished with Pool Party ink and blending brush. (Don’t forget to clean blending brush on scrap paper.)
Then across this same piece of white card stock adhere the conversation hearts.
Stamp your chosen sentiment on the bottom right of the decorated card stock. (I used my Stamp-a-ratus to ensure that the sentiment would be straight.)
Adhere this card front to front of the Blushing Bride card stock leaving about 1/4″ margin.
Then stamp your second sentimant on the second piece of white card stock and adhere to inside of card.
I finished by embellishing my card with some enamel hearts.
