The Designer Paper (Flowering Fields) used to make this mini slim line is absolutely beautiful. It can be used simply but brings elegance to the card.
- I started by cutting an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of Blushing Bride cardstock (#131198) to 7″ x 6-1/4″. On the 7″ side I scored at 3-1/2″. Then I folded on score line and secured with bone folder.
- Then out of Basic White card stock (#159276) I cut a piece to 3-1/4″ x 6″
- Another rectangle of Basic White cardstock (#159276) measuring 3″ x 6″
- I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock (#100702) to 3″ x 4-3/4″
- Cut a piece of Flowering Fields Designer Paper (#157670) to 2-3/4″ x 4-1/2″
- I made a bow out of green ribbon from my stash.
- I placed the “Happy Birthday” stamp from The Happiest of Birthdays” (#152539) on an acrylic block.
- I got out my Flirty Flamingo ink.
I adhered the basic white cardstock (3-1/4″ x 6″) to the base of the card, leaving about 1/8″ margin on all sides.
Then I adhered the rectangle of designer series paper on the piece of old olive card stock again leaving a margin on all sides.
Next, I adhered this layer to the left side of white card front.
I used glue dots to adhere the green bow to the bottom right – hand corner of the tulip designer paper.
On the right-right hand side of the card I stamped “Happy Birthday” using the Flirty Flamingo ink.
I also adhered a rectangle of basic white card stock measuring 3″ x 6″ on th inside of the card for personal message or additional message if desired.
