“When life throws you scraps make a quilt“. I am not sure where this quote originated but I did have scraps of the Sunshine and Rainbows Designer Series Paper (#158126) so I decided to make a card that evoked the feel of a quilt.
I used scraps that I cut into 1-5/8″ x 2-1/4″ rectangles. I ended up with four rectangles.
Then I cut each rectangle diagonally from right corner at top to left corner at the bottom.
I then adhered them as seen in card so that they resembled a quilt.
I used a large white oval that I had previously cut. On that oval I adhered a cloud shape from the same designer series paper and stamped a sentiment “Whishing you brighter days ahead” from the stamp set that came with the No Matter the Weather Card Kit. Then I embellished.
I stamped “No Matter the Weather We Aare in This Together” from the same stamp set.
I am sending this card to someone I know could use some encouragement.
