October is a grat time for me to use up all the scraps of paper in my scrap bin. I especially like to use up the awesome DSP scraps. So here is the card I created. using scraps and older product.
Materials used:
- I found an A2 size card base. It was made out of Cherry Cobbler cardstock #1198683. So I used it.
- I also had two strips of the red and gold DSP from the Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper Set #159535.. I cut them to 1″ x 3-3/4″.
- I also found in my scrap bin, a peice of gold foil cardstock. I cut two strips each measuring 1-1/1″ x 4″. I then adhered the red and gold DSP strips onto the gold foil strips. Then adhered a strip to the left and right side of the card. (The card base is landscape orientation being top folding)
- I used a wreath stamp from an old Paper Pumpkin to stamp the image on a srap of Basic White cardstock. I used Evening Evergreen Ink to stamp the image. Then I fussy cut the wreath.
- I used a stamp “joy” from an old Paper pumpkin. I stamped that in th middle of the wreath.
- I used and sentiment strip from my srap bin that had been stamped “to you and yous”. This sentiment was heat imbossed in red. I layered the sentiment on a strip of green cardstock.
- Red enamel dots from a previous Paper Pumpkin were used to finish the wreath.
Hope you like this card and you are encouraged to use yout scraps.
